We spent only one night in Laramie; then on to Coalville, UT. We were about an hour from Salt Lake City, but after the last 2 days neither of us wanted to leave the trailer,so we vegged. The next day we did take the scooter up to Angel Lake. What a beautiful place! A lake up in the mountains, spring fed along with snow melt. Actually there was snow still on the ground just above the lake. There were a number of people fishing, one couple out in a canoe and several families picnicing with kids splashing in the shallow water.
There is a campground there - but uh-uh. no way, no how would I be staying there! It was really overgrown and kinda scary. I don't like snakes and this is just the kind of place where you would probably find a lot!
The ride back down the mountain was fine. Someone told TM they have not lost a car or motorcycle over the edge, just a couple of bicyclists. That had me totally relaxed even when TM got close to the edge. Sure it did.
