On Tuesday, we met our friends Shirley and Arthur for lunch. They are from KY and we know them thru church. We had a nice meal and a delightful visit. They are trying to talk us into stopping overnight at Mt. Sterling on our way to MI this summer. Would love to do it, but we will have to look at our schedule. At least we hope to stop for a visit.
Wed. night Bible class we finished studying Titus and had some pretty good discussion. Couple of points I didn't exactly think we stuck with the context, but they were good points to make. We went to eat afterwards with Manuel and Jeannie. Frank and Chris joined us a little later. Frank and Chris just got back from Elizabethton, TN and were sure glad the beat the bad weather.
Today was our Escapees RV club meeting. Really like the Golden Corral, but there are just too many good choices. Tend to eat a "little" more than we should. We enjoyed sitting with the Giffords and finding out a more about them. She said she was from upstate NY, near Albany. I laughed and said that's not upstate - Plattsburgh is upstate. She had to agree. In case you don't know, to New Yorkers anything that is not the NYC is upstate.
Thought about stopping to get my hair cut, but decided to wait. I am trying to put it off until just before we leave here, but don't know if I can make it or not. Starting to really bother me. Fancy is getting a haircut next week; he definitely cannot wait! We will also get him a cut just before we leave.
About all the excitement for now.
