Leaning Tower of Tin

Casselton, ND was a one night stand, literally. We pulled in to the site, had to disconnect in order to get the trailer level, and never moved the truck until time to leave the next morning. BUT, we were so fortunate as to be right next to the temporary storage site of the Worlds Largest Pile of Tin Cans. Follow the following link to find out how it wound up where it is and what they have planned for it.

There is much more about it on the web, actually, much more than it is worth, but that is neither here nor there. Had it not been stored in the corner of a field right next to our camp ground we would never have been blessed with the opportunity to see this monument to man's ability to make a mountain out of any molehill that comes along.
This shot gives some perspective on the truly immense size of the thing.

The people in the hotel next to the thing got a large laugh out of me asking about it.
