Sunday we went to services at Kingsland Church of Christ. The people were very friendly and the Bible class and worship service were interesting. We really enjoyed it there. After lunch at Ruby Tuesday (I had a coupon), we went home to start getting ready to move. Traveling dog does not like us changing things, so we let him stay outside. As long as he comes in and his blanket is where it belongs, he does ok.
Monday, we were up and finishing with the trailer. This really upset TD. He was on his chain and was just pacing and following us when he could. The minute TM fired up the truck and started backing to hook up, the poor dog was a basket case. I wonder if he thinks we will leave him. We've never left him at a strange place, so I don't know why he would think that. Anyway, we finally just put him in the truck and he was satisfied. Guess he knows we don't go anywhere without the truck.
Our hook-up process went smoother than ever so maybe, just maybe, we are getting the hang of it.
So, on to Florida. First stop - Sam's (isn't that what everyone does?) in Jacksonville. We spent less than an hour and less than $150.00. Not bad, I suppose.
We enjoyed the ride on the back roads as this is horse country. We did see some beautiful horses. We stopped at a rest area and fixed lunch (no horses there). Then came on here to 3 Flags RV park. It is nice here and the lots are spacious. It got a little warm here setting up as the temp was around 82 or so. Luckily it didn't take us very long to level the trailer and get the AC going. One thing about flat land, it's pretty level.
TM and TD toured the grounds to find the pet walk area, then I went with them later in the evening. Again, flat land is nice for walking!
That's it for now.
Merry Christmas and God Bless

It's not every day that someone thinks flat is good...glad it works for you. Enjoy those warm temps!
