Hope everyone had a lovely holiday. Despite the fact that the day started very rainy, it cleared off enough and turned warm enough (barely) for us to cook on the grill and eat outside. We had planned to have cornish hens and the trimmings, but Bi-Lo was out of cornish hens. We opted for shrimp and salad. Was good. Except Nick wouldn't eat his, so it is a good thing we didn't waste but 2 shrimp trying to get him to join us..
We stayed around the campground Thursday and Black Friday. I would say that Anderson or Seneca are not as bad as some places because of less population. Somehow we did not want to test our theory by going to Wal-Mart.
Since we had rain on Wed. and Thurs. the colors (and leaves) are pretty much gone. That's ok since we leave Sunday to head further south. Yeah!
Not much news this time. We will see what tomorrow brings.
