Florida day. Partly cloudy, but temps were mild. Our walk was really nice. More people out these days as the park starts to fill up. Glad to see my neighbor Sue back for the winter. Also got some laundry.
We had our ladies social/craft time this afternoon. There were 5 of us most of the time. Crochet, knitting, and embroidery, as well as my Swedish Weaving were going on. Just before I had to leave, a new lady came in. Come to find out she had been here for 17 winters and then stopped coming. Now they are coming again. Life changes for all of us. Then Wendy came in and chatted for a while. We had gotten e-mail from our friend Carol yesterday. Her husband is in the hospital with inflamed pancreas and gall bladder, with surgery to be scheduled. Miss them here, but glad they were home in Ohio when he got sick.
Don had a 3:45 appt. with the gastroenterologist(spilchick had no suggestions so assume it is spelled right). He will be having a scope on Monday the 10th. She said she could talk to him all day getting history and still not still not find out what she needs to know. With the scope she can know what we are dealing with. We had anticipated that would be the course of action and just glad she could get him in so soon. He is still doing well with his "wounded wing".
We are so glad and blessed to be enjoying life the way we are. Who could ask for anything more?
