We really saw some beautiful old homes, especially the "Gingerbread Cottages". That particular area started as a religious retreat. When they decided to put permanent houses there, they ordered kits, so all the houses were alike. Then everybody had to "one-up" the other with decorative trim. Some house have as many as 7 different colors on them.Oh yeah, we saw the beach where the first "Jaws" was filmed. Maybe you remember the scene where somebody yells shark and everyone comes screaming out of the water. The story goes that it was filmed in late April and the water was about 51 degrees and the air not any warmer. When those people were screaming, they meant it - wouldn't you scream? There were 7 takes, but they had to use the 1st one because they kept losing people. Seems some of them didn't want to go back in the water. Imagine that.
God Bless
